Tropic Fish Kauai celebrated the grand opening of their new Lihue facility on September 22, 2012.

The facility, sales and operations staff is located in the heart of Lihue, Kauai in the Puhi Industrial area. It houses a full cutting room, refrigeration, and office area. Deliveries are made six days a week to Kauai supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, institutions and various other businesses.

This expansion has enabled the company to improve service to its Kauai clientele, provide a larger inventory of product at more competitive prices and guarantees delivery in a timely manner. Clients have a consistent supply of frozen items that are sourced throughout the world and improved access to fresh fish that are brought to various ports throughout the islands.

Tropic Fish Maui Blessing and Grand Opening

Tropic Fish Maui celebrated the grand opening at their new Wailuku facility with a spiritual, Hawaiian blessing on June 2, 2011.

Approximately 100 guests consisting of food industry personnel and business affiliates that assisted with the development of the facility were in attendance.

Festivities included a tasty spread of local favorites such as a variety of fresh, homemade poke and sashimi prepared at TFM. Guests also enjoyed a selection of beverages and a tour of the cutting/processing room, chill room, shellfish room and office.

Tropic Fish Maui is extremely excited about the new opportunity of serving Maui with the same professionalism and efficiency that they do in Kona, Hilo and Honolulu through their affiliate companies.

The Umamoto and Tanoue families wish to thank all that attended and look forward to building lasting relationships.
