Tropic Fish Maui Blessing and Grand Opening

Tropic Fish Maui celebrated the grand opening at their new Wailuku facility with a spiritual, Hawaiian blessing on June 2, 2011.

Approximately 100 guests consisting of food industry personnel and business affiliates that assisted with the development of the facility were in attendance.

Festivities included a tasty spread of local favorites such as a variety of fresh, homemade poke and sashimi prepared at TFM. Guests also enjoyed a selection of beverages and a tour of the cutting/processing room, chill room, shellfish room and office.

Tropic Fish Maui is extremely excited about the new opportunity of serving Maui with the same professionalism and efficiency that they do in Kona, Hilo and Honolulu through their affiliate companies.

The Umamoto and Tanoue families wish to thank all that attended and look forward to building lasting relationships.
